Q

Is it possible for the athletics students to participate in their "study hall" hours elsewhere?

The athletic students are VERY rude if you ask them to be a little bit more courteous of the other students. I have asked them on two separate occasions and both time I got a nasty reply. I utilize the "library" as a quiet study environment as it has been posted that is what it should be. Thank you for your help.

Answer

Dear Emily -  I apologize for the fact that your ability to study is being hindered by students who are being loud and discourteous. You can always come downstairs and ask a library staff member to speak to the students in question so that you do not have to do it yourself.  I will say that in the past I have had to do this upon occasion myself but it does not always make a difference.  We currently have many changes occuring in the library and I have not been informed as to what our policy is anymore regarding such behavior.  I am passing your complaint on to see if we might be able to address this.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
