Dear Sharon: Yours is a research question, and therefore we librarians cannot answer your question for you.  But we can guide you to our databases so that you can do the research yourself. Here are the basics of performing such a search:  from the college webpage choose the library from the quick links section to the left.  From the library page choose databases, and from the database page choose Psychology and Human Services.  From this listing look about 2/3 of the way down the list and choose Proquest Psychology Journals. Type  your topic in the long bar. Underneath this bar are two boxes.  The one marked full text should already be marked. Also mark peer-reviewed. Finally, to the right there is an option marked sort results by. From the pull-down bar change relevance to publication date: most recent first, as your instructor has asked you to use only publications from the last five years (we have had many students in the library with this question.)  Perform your search. You should get a number of articles, and you can then choose the one or ones that you need to print or e-mail.

If you have any trouble you can call us here in the library and we can help you by phone.  Our number is 913-288-7650 and our hours are listed on our web page as well.  If you are able to come in to the library we can help you do a search at a workstation as well.
