Can I check out reference books?

Answer

No, all reference material must be used in the Learning Commons. However, if you only need a few pages of a specific book copies are free so you can photocopy the specific page(s) you need.

  1. High-use materials such as reference books are non-circulating to ensure availability to all students. In other words, these books are kept on the shelf so that all students can look at them when they visit the library.

Non-circulating materials can only be used in the library. However, the reference material can be scanned or photocopied.
